The Economic Development Corporation of Southwest California (EDC) was proud to host the Third Annual Southwest California Business Summit. The Summit helded on April 27, 2011 at the new City of Temecula Civic Center focused on creating and enhancing business relationships to help promote economic growth in Southwest California. The event represented a coalition of the five contiguous cities and their Chambers of Commerce (Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Murrieta, Temecula, and Wildomar), the Riverside County EDA, and the EDC. The Summit offered seminars on communication skills, business planning strategies, and technology for your business; roundtable discussions on human resource issues, financial opportunities, and home-based business issues; speed marketing featuring 12 area marketers, a procurement room to talk to the purchasing departments of the cities, school districts and others; and vendor booths.
