The Economic Development Corporation of Southwest California (EDC) was proud to host the Second Annual Southwest California Business Summit.  The Summit to was held on April 28, 2010, at South Coast Winery in Temecula, and focused on creating and enhancing business relationships to help promote economic growth in Southwest California.

The event represented a coalition of the five contiguous cities and their Chambers of Commerce (Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Murrieta, Temecula, and Wildomar), the Riverside County EDA, and the EDC.  The Summit offered seminars, breakout sessions, and vendor booths for questions and information on issues of importatnce to regional businesses.

Expanded presentations included such diverse topics as; Marketing Using Social Networking Applications, Taking Your Business Green, Managing Human Resource Issues, Sense to Cents - How Technology Can Help Your Business, Multi-Media Marketing, Southwest California Connected Entrepreneur Panel Demonstration, State Procurement Opportunities, Preparing for Green Legislation, IT Security - Network Set-up and Cloud Computing, Financing Your Business through the SBA, NAVFAC Procurement Opportunities, and Best Practices.

The five Cities, three school districts, MSJC, and assorted utilites were be available in breakout format to discuss procurement opportunities and vendor list applications.

Check -in started at 8:00 a.m, and the day concluded at 2:00 p.m.  The rain did not dampen the opportunity to expand business and increase the bottom line of regional buisnesses.
